Knot Maul Shelter

Posted from Ceres, Virginia, United States.

Finally seem to have the food planning down. I have enough for breakfast and a few snacks—trying to make the 14 miles to town by lunch. Had a great view today of a ringed valley known as God’s Thumbprint. Long days with afternoon showers seem to be the norm right now, as do full shelters. Should be able to see MaGyver tomorrow and Cous-Cous and R-Kid on Saturday. It has been different this week without them. Go-Go and Mallo have been great to pack with though. They are both long time packers on their second AT trip. Looking forward to a great time at Trail Days.
