Screw Auger Falls

I am in the homestretch now – the 100 mile wilderness. I can feel my time left ticking by. I am hoping to glimpse Katadin tomorrow. Katadin; for the longest time it was only distant dream, now only one mountain and 60 miles stand in between it and I. The beautiful weather has vanished to be replaced with temps in the 90s and thick humidity. That weather zaps all energy from you. Still hoping to finish in four more days, but that means a couple of big days. The end in site is enough motivation I think. Onward North!
